Having said that, as a medical practitioner Dr Fong is required to comply with section 133 of Health Practitioner Regulation National Law, where it prohibits any health care practitioner from using testimonials as advertisement for their services. Hence with the ‘no testimonial rule’, we must restrict any posting of testimonials/recommendations from amazing patients like yourself on digital platforms controlled by the practice (eg My Fertility Care’s website and our social media accounts). 

​To provide clarity, the regulator (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency - AHPRA) states that platforms such as Google review, your personal social media accounts, chat rooms or specific Facebook group sites do not fall within the regulation, as this law is not a move to prohibit members of the public from sharing/discussing their experiences.
