Dr Ashley Fong, founder of My Fertility Care is a consultant endocrinologist and fertility specialist.
Dr Fong gained hands-on experience in the field of fertility during her postgraduate endocrinology training at Westmead Fertility Centre. She went on to complete a Masters in Medicine in Reproductive Health Science and Human Genetics with the University of Sydney in 2011. With over 8 years of experience as a fertility specialist, she has an in-depth understanding of the causes and treatments of infertility and is passionate about helping you achieve your fertility goals. Dr Fong is warm, approachable and thoughtful. She is known for her meticulous approach to the presenting problem. She is committed in providing high quality care using evidence based medicine and the most effective treatment. |
Dr Fong obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Monash University, Victoria in 1999.
She commenced her advanced Physician training in endocrinology at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney and the following two years at Westmead Hospital. In her elective year, Dr Fong was the clinical fertility fellow with Westmead Fertility Centre and research fellow with the Department of Endocrinology of Westmead Hospital. During this year, she investigated and published her research on “Relationship of Vitamin D Deficiency in the Development of Diabetes in Pregnancy” and “Steroid Induced Hyperglycaemia in Hospitalised Patients”. |
