Telehealth Consultations

One of our key mission is to support fertility treatment that is accessible to individuals from all walks of life. To make IVF affordable and attainable, we offer Telehealth consultations through video-conferencing (via Zoom) or phone for patients living in rural and remote areas of Australia.

The consultation will allow Dr Fong to investigate your situation and provide professional medical advice at your location. 

If IVF treatment is required, Dr Fong will work with you to overcome the practical aspects of having treatment as a long distance patient.

What are the IT requirements?

• Computer or mobile device
• Reliable internet
• Access to printer

What information do you need from me?

• We will send you an email with the following:
  • Details of the appointment
  • Registration/privacy consent form
  • Health/fertility questionnaire form
• Forward completed forms and previous reports/results to us 2 days prior to your appointment for registration and preparation of your file

What happens on the day?

• Prior to the consultation, we will be contacting you to organize for payment. Your claim will be transmitted to Medicare immediately after your consultation. Medicare will then deposit the rebate to your nominated bank account within a few days.
  
• We will send you ZOOM link just prior to the appointment

Where can I have my tests?

• Most tests and investigations can be conducted at your location. Dr Fong will explain to you the nature of the tests and the process
• If you choose a provider that’s different to the provider listed on the form, please ensure they forward the report via:

• Keep a record of the date of service, provider details and their contact numbers as we may need to contact them directly to retrieve the results.
